Mitacs

Mitacs “builds partnerships between academia, industry and the world.” As a Canadian not-for-profit organization, Mitacs manages several research funding and training programs for undergraduate and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. Although most programs are for students enrolled at Canadian universities, eligibility by program varies, and some programs include inbound international students and post-doctoral fellows. CALAREO and Mitacs are launching a CALAREO Globalink Research Award program, to fund both outbound and inbound student/postdoc research projects with CALAREO member universities. Eligible countries under this agreement include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.
