Hello. My name is Jose Mendoza, I´m from Mexico and about a year ago I got my PhD degree. I had a CONACyT schoolarship for 4 years, but right now the economical and political situation in my country is really hard. That’s why I’m looking for other opportunities. I want to be honest. I’m looking for a posdoctorate possition but I wish I could stay in Canada for more than one or two years. I have 3 children and I would like to rise my family in a safetier place than my country.
I have a lot of skills, I studied a master in science and I’m speclialized in Nutrition and Human Metabolism. After that I began a doctorate in science with a Biotechnology especialization. My first proyect was about sulforaphane as a possible anticancer therapy, but we had an economical problems so I had to begin another proyect (because in Mexico we just have 4 years to finish our PhD)about how people who lived near of a mine zone was exposed to a heavy metals (As, Cd, Hg and Pb).
I’ve worked as a teacher for 10 years, and I have some experience in more fields.
I would like to recive some information about my possibilities to move to Canada, first as a posdoc research colaborator and maybe in a future as a worker in any field.
I want to thank the time you spend to read about my doubts and I hope to recieve some good options.
Greetings,
PhD, Jose Mendoza
