CALAREO receives grant to survey Canadian students

The CALAREO Consortium has received a grant to conduct a survey of students at member universities about challenges they face in participating in outbound mobility, such as study abroad or international research internships.  The survey will examine individual and institutional barriers from the students’ perspective.  A third objective of the survey is to understand student perceptions of Latin America as an academic destination.  Results will be used to strengthen program supports and develop a communication strategy for outbound opportunities to Latin America.   This project is funded by the Government of Canada’s Outbound Student Mobility Pilot Program.
