CALAREO signs MOU with CONACYT

The CALAREO Consortium and CONACYT, the National Council of Science and Technology of the United Mexican States, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a framework for advancing cooperation. Designated areas for cooperation include biotechnology and agricultural sciences; biology and chemistry; medicine and health; energy; environment; and earth sciences; industrial manufacturing technologies; materials; nanotechnology; information technology and telecommunications; and applied mathematics and modeling.

The MOU was one of seven signed at the Canada-Mexico University Mission, held in Mexico City from May 22-25, 2018.  Dr. Moira McPherson, Interim President, Lakehead University, signed the MOU behalf of CALAREO, and Dr. Arturo Borja, Director of International Cooperation, signed on behalf of CONACYT.
