Mitacs-CALAREO Globalink Research Award –Inbound/Outbound  * Open Call * 

Eligible undergraduates, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows (PDFs), can propose research projects of 3-6 months in duration under the supervision of a faculty member at a host institution. Grants are in the amount of CAD 6,000 and can be combined with other funding.

Outbound awards are for students/ PDFs enrolled at CALAREO member institutions (regardless of citizenship) to conduct research at a Latin American institution.  * NEW * All Latin American countries are now eligible, except those with a Government of Canada advisory of “avoid all travel.”

A limited number of inbound awards are available for students/PDFs from eligible countries to conduct research at one of these CALAREO member institutions. Applications are open call and can be accepted year-round, but each member institution may have its own internal competition and deadlines.  * NEW * All Latin American countries are now eligible!
